1891 Argentine Mauser Long Ladder Weaver Style Mount - S&K Scope Mounts
Fits 1891 Argentine Long Ladder Full Length. Will not fit 1909 Argentine or Carbine 1891.
How to tell if you have Full Length or Carbine:
Most Carbine Argentine Barrels are 17"-20" in length
Most Full length Argentine Barrels are 28"-30" in length
No drilling, tapping or major alteration. Guaranteed to hold zero. Can be removed and reinstalled easily. Made in the USA of top grade military allan aircraft aluminum. Use Weaver type rings (not included). Allen wrench not included.
Installation instructions for the ARGENTINE 1891
Push the pin out at the rear of the rear flip sight. Remove the flip up sight & the spring by sliding it forward and lifting it out. Slide the flange nut into the undercut at the front of the sight where the spring was with the full radius on the nut toward the rear.

Installation instructions for the ARGENTINE 1891
Push the pin out at the rear of the rear flip sight. Remove the flip up sight & the spring by sliding it forward and lifting it out. Slide the flange nut into the undercut at the front of the sight where the spring was with the full radius on the nut toward the rear.
Place the mount over the special nut & align the 4-40 tapped holes in the mount up with the holes in the side of the receiver. It is very important that these holes line up to keep from damaging the threads when the screws are installed. Put in the (2) 4-40 x ⅜ socket head screws. Do not tighten!!!
Put the 10-32 x 3/8 flat head screw through the mount and into the nut & tighten. Lightly tighten the (2) 4-40 socket head screws. They DO NOT need to be real tight. Put the 10-32 x ⅜ set screw down through the tapped hole in the top of the mount and tighten against the receiver. The purpose of this set screw is to keep pressure on the 4-40 socket head screws so they can’t back out.
