Will not fit on 196 or higher models including the 582 series or Mini-14 with winged front sights. Easy to install. The single expansion chamber has a full circumference hole pattern that limits recoil and helps eliminate muzzle flash. Adds extra muzzle weight for a more stable hold. Protective ears prevent bumps and dings from damaging sight blade. Replaces the front sight; attaches with front sight pin and locking set screw.
