Description: 1911 Recoil Buffer - Buffer Tech Gunsmiths around the world have long recommended that recoil buffers be used in the 1911. They reduce muzzle jump, they reduce felt recoil and they extend the pistol's service life as well! This is accomplished by stopping the bolt, bolt carrier, op rod or slide from directly contacting the receiver. This recoil buffer fits the Colt 1911 and clones. It is simple to install and requires no modification to the firearm.
