The ultimate stock system for your Ruger Mini 14 or Mini 30.

This Mini 14 TactLite six position adjustable side folding stock can be fired from the folded position.
Includes removable/adjustable cheekrest system. 
Features additional ventilation in forend and top cover and a slot for tactical sling attachment.
Six degree drop tube adaptor for use with iron sites amd two sling swivel studs.
Rail system features one 4" Picatinny rail, three 2" Picatinny rails, one 2" swivel stud Picatinny rail and blank covers for when rails are not in use.
All mounting hardware included.

Ruger Mini-14/30 Strikeforce Stock Instructions
1: Stainless Steel Insert Installation

If you do not desire to install the picatinny rails, begin by using the supplied 6-19 x 3/8” Flat Head screws (#6) and a phillips head screwdriver to attach the stainless-steel insert.
If you choose to install the picatinny rails, you will remove the steel insert from the stock body until you install the rails (Step 3)

2: Blank Insert Installation
To install the (5) blank inserts into the stock body, you will take one insert and install into the side of the stock body making sure the tabs line up into the stock body until flush. You will repeat this same process for the left side, bottom, and both slots of the top cover.

3: Bottom/Side Picatinny Rail Installation
To install the bottom picatinny rail with the sling stud, you will first need to remove the stainless-steel insert from the stock body. Then begin by installing the 10-32 hex nut into the pocket on the bottom of the picatinny rail. Next, while holding your finger over the 10-32 hex nut (#7), thread the sling stud into the rail until it is seated into the hex nut.
Next, install (2) 6-32 hex nuts (#8) into the pockets on the bottom of the inside stock body. Align the bottom rail into place and while holding a finger over the hex nuts fasten the rail using (2) 6-32 x 3/8” machine screws (#5) and a phillips head screwdriver.
To install the side rails, begin by locating the existing pockets on the inside of the stock body and insert (2) 6-32 hex nuts (#8) into the pockets. Align the side rails into place and while holding a finger over the hex nuts use a phillips head screwdriver to fasten the (2) 6-32 x 3/8 machine screws (#5) to the picatinny rail. To install the stainless-steel insert, refer to 1: Stainless Steel Insert Installation.

4: Top Cover Rail Installation
To install the top picatinny rail, insert the (4) 6-32 hex nuts (#8) into the pockets on the underside of the top cover. Next, align the top rail into place and while holding the hex nuts with your finger, secure the top rail to the cover using the included (4) 6-32 x 5/16 machine screws (#4) and a phillips head screwdriver.

5: Grip Assembly to Stock Body Installation
To install the grip assembly to the stock body, slide the stock body to the grip assembly until fully seated. Using the provided (4) 6-19 x ¾” plastite screws (#2) and a phillips head screwdriver, secure the grip assembly to the stock body.
Note: The remaining (4) 6-19 x ¾” screws are extra.

6: Barreled Action Installation
To install the barreled action, align the barrel to the front of the stock and bring the rear down towards the rear of the stock and firmly secure the barrel in place.
To reinstall the trigger assembly, turn the rifle over and install into the body and snap into place until seated.

7:  Shim Installation
After installing the trigger assembly make sure to function check your Mini 14/30 to ensure that the bold is cycling properly. If your bolt sticks during any portion of the cycle you may have to add a 3/32 x 5/8 shim between the trigger assembly and stock.
Note: Shim is not included in this kit and more than one shim may need to be used.

8:  Tube to Grip Assembly Installation
With the knuckle in the folded position slide the buffer tube into the knuckle. Using a phillips head screwdriver and the provided 14 x ¼” phillips head screw (#1), tighten the tube through the back of the knuckle.

9: Top Cover Installation
Align the top cover plate from the front and bring the cover down until seated. Using the provided 6-32 x ½” phillips head screw (#3) tighten the cover plate to the stock body.
Note:  Do not overtighten screw, as this may pull the brass insert out of the bottom stock body.


TacLite Adjustable Cheekrest Kit Installation

1: Hex Nut to Mount Installation
Begin by placing the (5) 6-32 hex nuts into the slots of the cheekrest mounts until seated.

2: Cheekrest Mount Installation
Begin by attaching the right side cheekrest mount and snap into the pocket until seated.
Turn the stock over and attach the left side cheekrest mount and snap into the pocket until seated.
Using the provided 6-32 x ¾” screw (1) thread the screw through the left side cheekrest mount and tighten using the appropriate allen wrench.

3: Cheekrest Installation
Take the cheekrest and slide onto the cheekrest mounts making sure the holes on the cheekrest line up with the cheekrest mount holes.
Using the provided 6-32 x ¼” screws (2) and the appropriate allen wrench, tighten the left side of the cheekrest. Turn the stock over and repeat the process to tighten the right side of the cheekrest.
