The ATI X1 Recoil Reducing Pistol Grip features an ergonomic design that is great for shooters of all hand sizes. The sure-grip texture increases control ability. The built-in X series recoil absorbing backstrap reduces muzzle lift, eliminates the felt punch of recoil, and is not affected by chemicals or extreme temperatures.

This grip uses the original mounting hardware and is easy to install.
It is constructed of DuPont Extreme Temperature Glass Reinforced Polymer, making it scratchproof and weatherproof.

AR-15/AR-10 Scorpion Recoil Pistol Grip

Installation instructions for Part # A.5.10.2346, A.5.20.2346, A.5.40.2346

Step 1: Begin by pressing in the button on the rear of the receiver cover then lift the receiver cover, removing the front of the cover from the slot in the rear of the sight housing and set aside.

Step 2: Push the rear of the rod towards the barrel until it is free from the receiver, then pull the rod up and back to remove the rod and spring from the bolt carrier.

Step 3: Locate the pistol grip nut on the inside of the receiver. If the pistol grip nut is removable, hold it in place with your finger.

Step 4: Wile holding the pistol grip nut, remove the screw from the bottom of the pistol grip using a flat head screwdriver or allen wrench and remove the grip.

Step 5: Make sure to align the pistol grip nut correctly through the bottom of the receiver. The pistol grip nut should be angled towards the rear of the receiver.

Step 6: While holding the pistol grip nut, slide the new ATI AR-15/AR-10 Pistol Grip over the pistol grip nut. Insert the pistol grip bolt and use an allen wrench to tighten the pistol grip bolt.

Step 7: Insert the Scorpion Pistol Grip Pad onto the new pistol grip. Slide the pad all the way up and into place. Insert the (2) plastite screws in the bottom of the grip and tighten using a philips head screwdriver.

Step 8: Reinstall the rod and spring into the bolt carrier and place the rear end of the rod into the slot in the rear of the receiver. Reinstall the receiver cover by placing the front of the cover into the slot in the rear sight housing and then locking into place with the rear end of the rod through the cover.
