Next Generation Kabar Fighting Utility Knife - Straight Edge - Hard Sheath - Ka-Bar Next Generation Fighting/Utility Knife with a Straight Blade. These are high performance knives and sheaths for the 21st Century. The blades are constructed from Sandvik 12C27 high carbon, high chromium stainless steel. Each blade has been heat treated to HCR 55-57 and deep frozen (cryogenics) to -120 degrees Fahrenheit. Hollow ground, double draw tempered and passivated to inhibit corrosion. High-pressure bead blasted and buff polished edges. Features oval shaped Kraton G thermoplastic elastomer handles and sintered powdered metal guards and butt caps. Kydex Sheath. Kabar.
